Inspect Your Order Immediately

You must inspect all goods within 3 business days of delivery. Freight shipments must be inspected before signing the delivery receipt - note any visible damage on the paperwork before the driver leaves. Failure to inspect and report within this window may affect your ability to make a claim.

To report a defect or discrepancy, contact us at (407) 550-5750 within 3 business days of delivery with your order number, photos, and a description of the issue. We will coordinate with the manufacturer or carrier to resolve it promptly.

Return Policy

We accept returns on eligible unused items within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below. All returns require prior written authorization - unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

To qualify for a return:

  • Item is unused, uninstalled, and in its original, undamaged packaging.
  • Return request is submitted within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • Item has not been altered, modified, or interoperated with other equipment.
  • Item has been correctly stored in appropriate conditions since delivery.
  • Proof of purchase (order number) is provided.
  • Item is not on the non-returnable list below.

Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility unless the item was received defective or incorrect. We recommend insuring return shipments - we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return under any circumstances:

  • Installed, commissioned, or energized equipment
  • Items that have been altered, repaired, or modified by anyone other than the manufacturer
  • Items that have been interoperated with third-party materials, goods, or services
  • Items damaged through misuse, improper installation, accident, abuse, neglect, or weather exposure
  • Items not correctly stored or used under normal conditions from the time of delivery
  • Items with missing, defaced, or altered serial numbers, labels, or safety markings
  • Special-order or custom-configured items
  • Items missing original packaging, accessories, or documentation

Minor Variations

Solar equipment may exhibit minor variations in color, finish, or dimensions that do not affect product quality, performance, or specification compliance. These minor deviations are not grounds for return, price adjustment, or cancellation of an order.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. 1Email (407) 550-5750 with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason.
  2. 2We will review and issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 1-2 business days if the return qualifies.
  3. 3Package the item securely in its original packaging with the RMA number clearly marked on the outside.
  4. 4Ship to the address provided in your RMA confirmation. Insure the shipment for its full value.
  5. 5Once received and inspected, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.

Defective Goods

If a product is confirmed defective upon delivery, we will coordinate the return to the manufacturer and facilitate exchange with a replacement unit at no cost to you. Our obligation is limited to coordinating the manufacturer's warranty process - we will not exchange or replace defective goods that:

  • Have been lost, stolen, or damaged while in your possession
  • Have been tampered with, defaced, or misused
  • Have been installed, interoperated, or commingled with third-party materials or services
  • Have not been correctly stored or used under the conditions specified by the manufacturer
  • You failed to report in writing within 3 business days of delivery

Where the manufacturer's warranty does not cover the defect, we will make reasonable efforts to assist you in obtaining a remedy from the manufacturer directly.

Manufacturer Warranty

All products sold by Star Stream Solar are covered by the respective manufacturer's warranty. As an authorized dealer, your warranty is valid and we can assist with manufacturer warranty claims.

Filing a Warranty Claim

Warranty claims are processed through the product manufacturer. Contact us with your order number, product serial number, and a description of the issue - we will assist you in initiating the claim with the manufacturer.
